Perinatal Wellness and Webster

The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic analysis and adjustment commonly used to treat chiropractic patients during pregnancy. This treatment protocol uses a gentle adjustment, muscle and round ligament releases to correct any sacral restrictions or sacroiliac joint dysfunctions to improve the biomechanics function of the sacrum and pelvis. This correction of sacral function may have a positive effect on causes of dystocia (which is difficult labour for the mother caused by inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction, or baby mal-presentation).

According to the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association (ICPA), the Webster Technique is safe to use during pregnancy.
